: With those two missing centuries I could argue for my
: 1000 years of Light and Dark :)

I'm not sure which two centuries you're talking about here; I was talking about how 700 and 300 are both 500 plus or minus two centuries. I don't see how you could use that to argue for a thousand-year cycle. It sounds like you're talking about the two centuries missing for 500+300 years of a Dark age, to argue that it's been dark for a thousand years; but if that's true, then it first turned dark in Connacht's time, and had been light before that, which is completely opposite what all the texts say.

: I think u missunderstood me. Lets take your theory:
: Connacht defeats the Leveler: beginn of the age of
: Light.
: 500 years. Then 500 years before the next Leveler appears
: begin of an age of darkness.

: Then 1000 years are over and the next Leveler is here.

If that's your summarization of my theory, then I think it is you who misunderstand me.

I am saying that Connacht defeats the Leveller, beginning an age of light. 500 years pass, then the next Leveller (Balor) appears, beginning an age of darkness. After 500 years, that same Leveller, who has almost finished destroying the world, is defeated, beginning an age of Light.

There's not a Leveller every 500 years in my theory; there's a Leveller every thousand years, like the game texts say. The Leveller doesn't show up to turn an age dark and then show up again in a different form to turn it light; he shows up to turn it dark, and then when he is defeated it turns light again.

: If the Leveler is defeated in like 10 years then there
: are no problems.

: But if he is around for 300 years like Balor supposedly
: was - then this stretches the ages.

: If the age was 1000 years - time between two Levelers-
: and it took 300 years to defeat Balor that would mean:
: That the ages of light/dark would be some 650 years =
: 1300 years or that the age of darkness was 800 years
: long and the age of light only 500 years.

: Still the thousand years= one or two cycles brakes down.

Unless the time during which the Leveller is actively waging war on the world is always the last part of the dark age, and he is fated to be defeated at a certain time, which seems to be the indication of the games; that the world is governed by fate, and nothing about these great wars is simply how long we managed to hold on or how long it took to win; all of these things are predetermined.
