In Response To: Woah Woah woah! calm down... (General Pepper)

: Am I the only one who got what he was trying to say...
: maybe I can help the kanigit (knight) of death out a
: bit by phrasing what I think he said which I think
: actually makes a somewhat good theory. Or at least
: whatever it was he said gave ME an idea for a
: theory... i dont neccesarily beleive in it but... here
: it goes

: Imagine that there is only one being, who causes the
: heros to become levelers. For clarification lets call
: this person the 'influencer' and the actual leveller
: person the Leveller. (even though this person is
: totally controlled by the influencer)

Erm... That's more or less the same concept behind the idea of a Leveller "Divinity," the spirit that posesses/corrupts those who become levellers (and yes, my usage of capitals does have some significance, for now). Out of the people who support this theory, some stand by the possession (where the spirit itself is doing the thinking), whereas others (myself included) find the corruption part more likely (where the spirit merely causes the leveller to become corrupt, and does not interfere in anything after that)

: The influencer is the head/Mjarin. Mjarin as the
: controller of the warlocks is able to ressurect moagim
: reborn and make him the 'leveller' of that age. and
: then used his influence on mydred and perhaps damas to
: get connacht to become balor (thats a little shakey)

Again, as I said in response to the original theory, I seriously doubt that a personage not even invented until years after the original game was released can suddenly be made into some kind of demi-god. It is impossible for Mjarin to be what corrupted Balor, and just as impossible for Mjarin to be what corrupted Tireces. He didn't even exist as the vaguest, tiniest, most basic idea, in ANYbody's head, let alone those who were making the game, when the game came out! That means that he cannot, in any wise, be what the authors intended to have corrupted Connacht and Tireces! Thus, he cannot possibly be the Leveller Deity, or any other such being! For heaven's sake, it's just common sense! Another thing - exactly when did anybody confirm that Damas corrupts Connacht (or convincing Connacht to become corrupted)? I find that extremely unlikely; Connacht wanted very desperately not to become the leveller, and I somehow doubt that even, say, his mother's ghost, could convince him otherwise, let alone his subordinate!. Finally, it (or maybe the Head) says that the Head is an old enemy of Balor. If we can trust that it's not lying about that much (and it certainly seems to be independent of either side to me), then how on earth could it "influence," as you put it, Balor?

: but then again we see the head very VERY connected to
: balor and alric (alric who we presume if the cycle
: isn't broken is going to be the next leveller)
: mayhaps the head was influencing him then but alric (like
: connacht before him) figured out that the head was
: really evil and thats why he and the nine got in such
: a fight with it... perhaps destroying the head would
: be what breaks the cycle not soulblighters death

Soulblighter's death has nothing to do with the "breaking" of the cycle! If Soulblighter hadn't been killed, that probably would have "broken" the cycle more than his death! If anything "breaks" the cycle, it's Balor's demise, not his general's!

: i dont know ponder that i know it isn't written very
: clearly but its better than before i think...

It's written much more clearly, but it still seems different, it still irritates me, and it still has more holes than swiss cheese...
