If we were to accept Myth 3 as canonical, then yours would be a good argument as to why Mjarin, given by M3 to be the Leveller, was probably the Hero who killed the first incarnation of Moagim. But the logic does not work the other way around: you can't use Mjarin being the Leveller to prove that he was a previous Hero and then use that to prove that he really was the Leveller, as that's a circular argument.

But Myth 3 is not canon, there was only ever one Moagim, and Connacht is the guy who killed him. (Though I suppose, if we had to work M3's story into the canon universe, we could say that Moagim died some time in the 500 years since he first appeared, and Mjarin was just the instrument of his resurrection; there may be canonical precedent for a given incarnation of the Leveller dying during his own age, as Alric says "Balor has been killed before...", but then again he may have meant that the Leveller had been killed before, not Balor per se, as in Connacht-possessed-by-the-Leveller-and-calling-himself-Balor, had been killed before).
