So u are arguing that the Leveler appears some 500 years after the last one is defeated thus ending the age of light and beginning the age of Darknes, but the cycle is 1000 years? between the defeat of one Leveler and the other?
Pretty stretching it to get your 500/500 theory through.
As with the Mykrirdia.
Why should they have keept still for hundreds of years? They were monsters they only purpouse was killing and what about hunger? They too needed to eat - and the few animals in the woods were certainly not enough.
Fact is the Myrkridia were around for 1000 years. Even disorganized as a feral horde they would have hunted killed and destroyed. So to say: "Ah for some 500 years the Myrks were just around doing nothing" to save your 500 years of light theory.....
From what we know I would more think
A The lenght of the ages/eras are somewhat more flexible than we think.
B An age of Darkness and Light is 1000 years, allways ending or beginning with a Leveler who appears every 1000 years.
Somwhere I read that Myth was also influenced by Babylon 5. There the Shadows returned each 1000 years - there Bungie getting the idea fore the 1000 year Cycle.
