: Am I the only one who got what he was trying to say...
: maybe I can help the kanigit (knight) of death out a
: bit by phrasing what I think he said which I think
: actually makes a somewhat good theory. Or at least
: whatever it was he said gave ME an idea for a
: theory... i dont neccesarily beleive in it but... here
: it goes

: Imagine that there is only one being, who causes the
: heros to become levelers. For clarification lets call
: this person the 'influencer' and the actual leveller
: person the Leveller. (even though this person is
: totally controlled by the influencer)

: The influencer is the head/Mjarin. Mjarin as the
: controller of the warlocks is able to ressurect moagim
: reborn and make him the 'leveller' of that age. and
: then used his influence on mydred and perhaps damas to
: get connacht to become balor (thats a little shakey)

: but then again we see the head very VERY connected to
: balor and alric (alric who we presume if the cycle
: isn't broken is going to be the next leveller)
: mayhaps the head was influencing him then but alric (like
: connacht before him) figured out that the head was
: really evil and thats why he and the nine got in such
: a fight with it... perhaps destroying the head would
: be what breaks the cycle not soulblighters death

: i dont know ponder that i know it isn't written very
: clearly but its better than before i think...

Well, that certainly made more sense. I still don't agree with it. That would make the cycle almost entirely dependent on one person. And who would this influencer be? I'm not trying to fight you, Pepper, but it is still a pretty poor theory. With most leveller theories you can argue that the leveller is an entity of chaos and destruction (thereby not necessarily evil). This influencer idea assumes that some entity incarnate is turning past heroes into new levellers. Why? To bring about chaos and destruction? Why not be incarnate in a body strong enough to do that on his own, why influence someone else? I know you stated that you don't necessarily agree with this theory, I just somehow feel compelled to shoot this idea down at all costs, possibly because one of the voices keeps insisting he is the leveller (another keeps insisting that he's Nyarlathotep, so I'm taking all of this with a grain of salt).
