: Right, so why can't Majarin be that chaoic, destructive

Something just occured to me. Who's (in the circle of nine) bright idea was it to dig up Mjarin's head? During Connacht's reign someone had to have written down somewhere that Mjarin (according to myth 3) was the leveller. In fact, there would probably be many documents to this effect since this would be a rather important thing to know. Was the Circle of Nine trying to use a leveller to fight a leveller, since that can't end well. Whoever wins, you still have a leveller to get rid of. So someone had to have known who the Head was, and had the brilliant idea of bringing out one of the greatest evils the world has ever known to help in the fight against one of the greatest evils the world has ever known. At least when Alric recruited Myrdred, the infighting amongst the Fallen Lords meant you could trust him for the duration of the fight, and maybe (just maybe) he could be trusted after the dust settles. The Leveller is interested only in destruction. Even if you can trust him during the battle, you should know for a fact that he can't be trusted afterwords. All of this assumes, of course, that Mjarin is the leveller (and I trust nothing in myth 3's story). And to answer the question of the previous post, wouldn't that mean that Balor isn't the Leveller? We would have done all that fighting in TFL for nothing, since it was the Head the whole time, and the Circle of Nine probably knew it. Seriously, is it possible for an incapacitated leveller to exist at the same time as a fully functional leveller? In some distant future, the forces of darkness could be ruled by a council of decapitated levellers, with an ambulatory leveller as a field marshall...ok, that was too damn weird, even for me.
