I agree with that. Where others disagree is in the intent versus the outcome.
The outcome of women wearing sexy clothing in public is identical to the outcome of them wearing sexy clothing in games. in both cases, there's women in sexy clothing.
the intent is what people argue about. did she wear sexy clothing because she intended for you to see it? or because she intended for her girlfriends to judge her highly based on her clothing choice? or did she intend to feel good or confident or stylish based on her choice of clothing?
In my opinion, the intent is irrelevant, and its the outcome that's important. because we can't read peoples' minds. you can speculate as much as you'd like on the intents of others, and they're variable. today I wore a nice jacket to work because i had an important meeting. but yesterday i just wore a shirt because its more comfortable. so intent is even variable within one person.
even if you're going to argue intent, it doesn't need to be permanent. as long as one particular intent exists commonly, it's a relevant argument. as long as people commonly dress for others, that's relevant to the comparison being made in this thread. it doesn't matter if people sometimes, or even oftentimes, dress for themselves. that's immaterial.
I don't really feel strongly one way or another, i just thought i'd clarify some things because y'alls argument gets distracted in the details.
