I guess I don't see those advantages so clearly. Spartan IIs are smaller, faster, quieter, cover the terrain just as well and they're just as deadly. Spartans were the mechs of Halo, but better. I always figured, like the early Mjolnirs, that mechs were redundant, archaic in the terms of the Haloverse. Putting a Spartan IN a mech is like... a better mech inside a worse mech.. Just weird to me. Now if Spartans didn't exist,
