: Games get delayed sometimes, don't they?
: With the way that technology is these days in general, being able to connect
: at a moments notice or near instantaneous info at your finger tips, on
: demand, its only a matter of time before many things we consume become
: more frequent. It's what people want. They don't know how to delay
: gratification.
This is why I don't do that whole 'people' thing. :)

: Personally, for you, I think this is where you and Halo part ways for a long
: time. I'm calling it now. (Gasp! Revenant! No!) Knowing what I know about
: you, where it looks like Halo is going, and taking a wild stab at where
: Sony *might* be going, I think for a significant time, that you'll be off
: the Halo train.
: You're going to be too wrapped up in Destiny.
I really hope so, or else I'm out of luck!
: On that note, isn't Bungie supposed to be releasing Destiny content every two
: years anyway? Do you think that you'll be lamenting that if they do?
We'll they've been up front about it being a long-term series with installments from the start. That's a little different than watching the Halo franchise from 2001 to 2007 at one pace, and then see it slowly start to accelerate, along with its EU and licensed products, to the point where (I, personally, think) that the quality and consistency has suffered at times and lost sight of some of the original tenets of what made Halo great. Or at least, what made it great to me.
Destiny sounds like it's going to be a great comic book series that I'll enjoy, knowing that there's a new issue every month. But Halo started out as a stand alone graphic novel that I loved. And then I was surprised and overjoyed to see another two or three sequels be made that continued its story over the next years. And they did so well they started to keep coming and coming, to the point where the original author was burnt out and replaced with a company man. And now I have to ask my comic book guy to stop pulling them for me so I can look at them on the shelves first before I make a decision.
