I wish 343i had gone in the same direction Valve did with the Pyro.

For those of you not in the know, TF2 has a character called the Pyro. He is clad in a body-concealing fireproof suit and the suit muffles her voice into intelligibility. Nothing is known about how they look under the firesuit. Its identity is one big question mark.

And when referring to the Pyro in promotional materials, Valve will often use conflicting pronouns to refer to her, sometimes using different pronouns in the same sentence. It's actually quite hilarious.
