But the actual act of pedaling is no different. It's the same motion regardless of whether you're riding a old penny farthing or the "safety"/"modern" design introduced in the 1890s. Front-wheel pedals still exist on tricycles and that same act of pedaling translates well to a bike. So, the switch from front-wheel to chain-driven rear-wheel is nowhere close to being in the same category as a switch to inverted "left is right, right is left" controls.

Well good for you if you're able to instantly adapt. As for me, I don't approve of unnecessary changes to control layouts. At the very least, they should have had multiple control layouts for Forge, including Reach/H4/H2A controls.
