He's talking about how it doesn't look new, and how the Chief was not shown changing armor, and how and other Spartans were shown wearing it in the flashback in the introduction to Halo 4. There's no indication there was ever another design of armor the Chief wore, only the one developed for Halo 4. Someone playing that game first would have no idea it had changed or what it looked like before. The anniversary titles would seem to go against this replacement but you used the same new armor for Halo 5, and I think for the comics, which... muddies things.

What about when you guys said you can appreciate the games without any of the other media? What about the fact the games get much more exposure? What about how the games came first? What about how the games have the biggest budget by a mile? Don't you think any of that elevates them somewhat?
