In one of the videos I watched, I caught sight of what I think was a Spirit, with the doors flipping open in sequence. Looked amusing! I forget where that was.

At least changes in hardware are easier to believe in than changes in the physical attributes of an enemy species. I think ship design would be one of the things I'd worry about least, since you don't pilot the things.
