: People are arguing that they
: are definitely evil, because they are killing off all
: the humans! Well that's very homocentric of them, and
: subjectively from a human point of view yeah, they are
: the enemy. But the see humans as evil for the same
: reason humans see them as evil: humans are committing
: genocide on them! The only thing that could possibly
: make humans more "light" or
: "good", objectively, is that the humans
: don't know they are invading someone else's home: they
: were just created there.
I'd like to say first that I fully understand your expansion and find it both original and intriguing. You've made it a "good" war, wherein both sides fight for their right to exist, and not the usual "You're totally right and they're totally wrong; you have every right to blast them and they don't" kind of thing.
But that applies only to your expansion. Unfortunately, the Bungie Myth isn't as original as your idea. Even despite my opinion that the Bungie Myth remains intriguing despite the lack of its plot's originality.
Anyway, what I'm attempting to explain is that when I say and defend stuff like 'the Leveler is evil and wrong' and 'the ghols are evil, Myrks are evil' etc. etc., I'm referring to Bungie's Myth. In Forrest's Myth it is an entirely different story, of course. But I'd never be able to debate in Forrest's Myth, which is why my arguments always refer to Bungie's Myth, and not MJ's Myth, Seabolt's Myth etc.
As to exactly why I couldn't debate Forrest's Myth, I think it's simply because I'm not 1337 enough :) :: nudge :: :: wink ::
: Or some power-hungry egomaniacs seize the reins and tell
: them all to shove it.
I'd give that a 10 on my zaniness factor. :: nudge ::
