Look at it this way: You are King Seraph of Seraphland. You and your noblemen run a are running a decent little country in Seraphland, when I, Emperor Forrest come along and say "Yeah that's all fine and dandy, but I have a better idea for how to run a country. Get the f*ck out and take your goddamn peasants with you." I then proceed to demolish what you had running here and build a grand, beautiful empire.
Yeah, my empire is real nice and all. Doesn't change the fact that I kicked you out of your country and demolished all that you had built. You would be perfectly justified in assembling an army and coming in to kick my ass and take back your country.
To use a real-world analogy, and hope to the deity of your choice that I don't piss anybody off, it's like the Israelies and Palestinians. The Palestinians had some country of their own going in Palestine, which I'm sure had problems of its own, but nobody would call them evil (well OK, I'm sure plenty of people call them evil every day, but nobody rational would). The Israelies took over a good portion of that land and made their own own country there, which likewise has it's problems but is in no sense of the word inherantly "evil". So now both sides are at war with eachother, and both have perfectly good reasons to be at war with eachother, even though neither side is completely "right", and both deserve a place to exist.
Wyrd's creations are the imposing force here, but they need a world to exist in too. That doesn't justify leaving the Dark Gods and their creation banished to the Other Realm.

The Warlocks would be like a hypothetical US or UN imposition in the Middle East: shut up, stop fighting, you're a non-partisan secular parilimentary democracy now. Except more like, "Shut up, stop fighting, and say nice things about me or your entire season of crops will spontaneously combust." Typical, appeasable gods with no particular vendetta besides their own ego.
