My opposition is doing the same thing. I'm saying that the "Dark" is not evil from an objective point of view, because in the extended fictional universe I'm writing about, they are just trying to take back their home and eliminate the evil invaders that took it from them. People are arguing that they are definitely evil, because they are killing off all the humans! Well that's very homocentric of them, and subjectively from a human point of view yeah, they are the enemy. But the see humans as evil for the same reason humans see them as evil: humans are committing genocide on them! The only thing that could possibly make humans more "light" or "good", objectively, is that the humans don't know they are invading someone else's home: they were just created there.

See though, that's exactly the thing: just because the Dark is trying to wipe out humanity doesn't make them evil. Humanity could very well deserve being wiped out. Just because they're there now doesn't make them the rightful inhabitants.
This is exactly the point of that element of my extended Myth story: the evil we've been fighting thinks we're just as evil as we think they are, and they're just as justified in thinking so. Neither side can with and have it be a truely 'just' ending: either Wyrd finally exterminates the 'vile' original inhabitants of the world and kills their 'dark' gods, or the Old Gods finally rid their world of the 'plague' which has invested it and kill the 'evil conquerer' that banished them.
Or some power-hungry egomaniacs seize the reins and tell them all to shove it.
