yup, i agree there are different forms of immortality, or as i like to call it, agelessness (because you can still kill an immortal person, so i just call them ageless since they are only free from time and not the violence of fellow beings).
clearly some forms of this agelessness make you remain young looking, like the Herons, others look old like most Avatars (alric, Myrdred, mb some others), and others which are drastically different: the Myrmidons *still age* as normal which is why they are crusty and falling apart, but they are still ageless in the sense that time cannot kill them.
