: People often forgive it in science fiction (bafflingly to me) but think of it
: this way: It would be like watching an episode of the Dukes of Hazzard.
: The General Lee is a 1969 Dodge Charger. Orange, with a confederate flag
: on the roof and 01 on the doors. You watch a season of the show go by.
: Then they do a movie, say 10 years later.
: In the movie, it fictionally takes place a single day after the last episode
: (despite the 10 years gap in real life). But now they're using a more
: modern Charger. It's still orange but not quite the same shade. The flag
: is still there but the font changed for the 01 which is actually now 10.
: Is this acceptable? Is it really just about the story? Should what's been
: established to be preserved to help maintain the fiction?
Dude, I was just musing on this stuff myself a few topics down.

You and Levi specifically came to my name haha.
I think I'm in the same camp as Ragashingo.
I totally agree with you, in principal and everything. I just have an easier time forgiving it haha
