Honestly, the film is clunky, and unsophisticated in dealing with its philosophical issues. I would not argue it is a 'good' movie in that regard. However, I found that on watching it I was not force fed all the answers all the time, and that made the film all the more enjoyable to watch because I was a more active participant.
Every time I tell someone that Jesus was an engineer, and because we crucified him that's why they are mad at us, I get funny looks. But it's all there in the film.
