More seriously, I think there are admirable parts of Prometheus, like the visuals and the TED advertisement.

But two years after watching it, I'm tired of being told that there's some secret meaning that I'm too stupid to get. Yes, it is a movie about people seeking their creators and not finding answers. But it's impossible to separate the mistakes those characters made because of their hubris, and the mistakes they made because they were morons who made the average Survivor contestant look like Richard Feynman. Whatever point Scott and Lindelof were trying to make was lost in a tangled mess of bad writing.

That's just my opinion.
