Everything about Nightfall screamed all the worst qualities of a low-budget project. I don't know how anyone looked at these performances or even the script and saw something worthy of putting Halo in the name. There is no hint of storytelling fundamentals or the genres it attempted to mold together in its narrative. Nightfall had about as thin of a tale to tell as some of these Escalation issues.

Other than that, was there any real reason for this series? I'm sure the next time we'll see its lead character is late this year in Guardians. By that time, we won't really have all that much exposure to the guy to care about him anymore than we don't. This new Lekgolo sub-species(?) was neat to see on the rare ocassion that we got to really see them. Otherwise, their true menace was hidden and spoiled on this instead of what could have been the next Flood reveal. They should have saved the effort and budget for an episode of what I hope to be is an entertaining and quality television series from Spielberg.
