People paid $60 for this.

Some people took off valuable time from work or school to play this.

Some people bought an Xbox One ($350 plus tax) solely for this.

Some people did all of the above, and convinced their friends to do the same.

And even if they do manage to fix all these problems, the population of this game -- the game that was supposed to lead to a renaissance in Halo multiplayer that fans have been awaiting for years -- has suffered a permanent and possibly crippling blow.

The rage is not unjustified.
