: MCC owners to receive a free month of live, ODST, and more H2A maps.

Personally, I've been fairly lucky and haven't had too many issues (aside from uneven teams, campaign saving and occasionally slow MM searching). This compensation makes up for it in my eyes (especially the ODST campaign which I am looking forward to).

However, whilst this does make up for it for me, it is a situation that should never have occurred in the first place and this won't restore the Halo image to where it was just before the MCC released. Nor, I suspect, will it bring back gamers who got fed up and returned their copies. But I'll leave that all there because it's been discussed to death.

Going forward, for Halo 5 (and this extends out to other game series now), I'll be keeping my money in my wallet until I hear positive news after release. I'm no longer going on the (reasonable) assumption that a game will work at launch anymore.
