Huh? Why *wouldn't* we ask for a writing explaining those details? By refusing this 'tome' we agree to stay in a state of ignorance to those details.
And ignorance is what we are trying to rid ourselves of.
By all means, you can personally refuse to accept a tome of Myth knowledge, but send it on over to me, I'd like to move forward.
BIG PICTURE: it wouldn't spoil all our fun. it would make things more fun, expand our knowledge, and finally bring some closure to at least a few issues. why the Asylumers wouldn't agree in a unanimous vote shocks me, but then again there are those here who might be afraid of being proven wrong about certain ideas etc. I too wouldn't feel all peaches and cream if one of my hypotheses was proven wrong, but that's life.
If I gained access to a valid tome like that, you'd bet the Asylum is the first place I'd be to post it (if legally possible).
