I spent a few minutes pondering the implication of a guideline like "small children who save the world are me". That last word must be 'lame', right? Otherwise, I COMPLETELY missed the point of the Myth series. ;-)
You don't have to be Andrew Meggs to know that MJ CAN change the story however they want. (Look what Tim Burton did to Planet of the Apes!) All this talk about having the 'right' to do it seems misplaced and irrelevant. Nothing that MJ comes out with is going to shine any light on the mysteries hinted at in Myth and Myth II as understood in themselves. Like the sequel to Gone With the Wind that was written by someone else. You can't take information from that and go back and analyze the original.
There is more going on in Myth TFL and Myth II than is revealed plainly to you as a player, so it's not out of the question to try to formulate the most consistent theory about the parts of the story for which you do not fully observe. While the story told by Myth III will be one resolution of the things it resolves it won't be telling for Myth TFL or Myth II.
Myth III will rely on TFL and II; TFL and II do not rely on III.
