I'd prefer to believe that the tome would only clarify many things, but not all, as it's an infinite world, Myth. We'd get higher up on the mountain, to a better place which is more interesting, fresh, and new. We'd still have the rest of the way to go before ascention becomes impossible, but that's a long way up.

I think we just need a little tome after Myth III, giving us a fair amount of canon information to form bases around for new, more advanced theories, not bogged down in minor, though important, technicalities.
