Because it's my opinion on the story's progression and potentail. I'm not stating anything as an objective fact - as opposed to "She's dead. She cannot come back."

Already addressed.
Cortana isn't human. She's not 'dead' in the same sense we are dead. Outstanding questions about her nature as a unique Smart AI are all I need to believe that her story isn't as cut and dry as you want to believe. She may or may not come back. I could live with it either way. But I can see how and why, both in-universe and from a meta-narrative standpoint, it is feasible for her to return in some form, and that's what I'm expecting. That's all there is to it. Feel free to continue to disagree and expect to never see her again.
I really don't want to argue any more and take up precious forum link space :P
