Why would you try five times before waiting a few minutes, or do you mean it searched for a match for a few minutes? Why wouldn't you wait until you knew that game was over (it shows you in the bottom right how long that'll be)? What kind of game even lasts that long?
Why is there a quitting ban if they're going to let people quit and join whenever they want like this?

That's pretty harsh, especially since it makes the game bearable for a lot of people (who aren't in the 99th percentile in skill level), unless you have some other matching method you'd like to suggest.
