Personally? It'd rather enter a losing team mid-game every time I go into matchmaking rather than wait for an entire match to form and have the whole team quit within the first five minutes of the game, either my own or the opponent's. In my case, I'm actually glad it was implemented.

That being said, it needs improvement. One of them is the first strike medal, which makes it incredibly hard to obtain with going mid-game, and thus becomes a very rare medal to obtain in any match. On another, the fact that people often enter losing matches. I personally stopped caring about K/D ratio, but I can understand the people that go into a game and are given a throughout beating after it.
