I feel like they could still have a large variety of weapons in multiplayer, as long as they were conservative about which weapons went on which map. Every map would have a different weapon selection, thus inspire different styles of gameplay. A small map like Midship could have AR, BR, Storm Rifle, and Carbine with two power weapons, a medium sized map could have AR, BR, Suppressor, Light Rifle, and two different power weapons, a large map would have BR, DMR, Carbine, Light Rifle, and three different power weapons, so on and so forth.
