Of course. I was simply suggesting that while the effective range of the range wouldn't be affected, ones accuracy in engaging targets at that distance would be hindered depending on the sights they're utilizing. One may prefer to mount a telescopic sight to effectively target an enemy at mid-range, whereas someone clearing an urban environment might find using a reflex sight more appropriate. The weapon itself doesn't change one bit, merely the operator's ability to fully utilize it to that extent has been met or degraded.
