Man, I hate your post so much because I agree with practically all of it (primarily the last part about "than to do something right"). At the same time, I also qualify that thought by realizing that 343 has to play it safe because, well, they can't do it right otherwise. Bungie's way or not at all appears to be the H5 way at a distance, especially after the H4 experiment.
