I get where you a re coming from, but that kind of flies in the face of progress.

I would love to see Halo 5 take a complete, or at least a substantial departure from the conventions of the series. Everybody around here and GAF is saying the same thing: the franchise is stale. So why ask it to go backward, instead of moving forward?

From casuals the reaction to Halo Wars seemed positive. They accepted a Halo game with a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GENRE.

Why can't 343 throw away all package, and just start something new?
