: themselves on display when they had to fight. Bright shiny armor was a
: beacon of danger, not an easy target. Humans were originally unworthy
: adversaries which is why there was about 27 years of fighting with Grunts
: and Jackals before Elites on the battlefield against humans really
: occurred.

I actually assumed that they perceived colors differently--at least until Halo 2 came out.
