: Two things top my list of hopes: The return of ODSTs and a Human Support
: Aircraft of some type, à la Hornets and Falcons.

: There are of course a lot of other things I'd like to see (a more
: "Halo" art design, or a story that is actually interesting to
: me), but for the sake of brevity I'll keep it to just the ones I listed.

I also want:

-Bold, archetypal characters.
-Idealistic UNSC, allied Sangheili (or if they are not, explain why in the game), benelont Forerunners.
-More open world levels, especially for vehicles.
-No forced trench run vehicle mini-games. Vehicles are always funner as simply another optional part of the sandbox (unless a Halo is about to explode).
-Overhauled art direction, taking inspiration from the originals.
-Retconned Forerunner designs specifically, move away from noiseless vampires or knitting grandmas. Keep them masked, mysterious, enigmatic and up to your wildest imagination like before.
-New music is great but we still need the main themes present, like Star Wars, James Bond, etc.
-No out-of-game terminals, and do not make Terminals vital to understanding the main story. Make them supplemental, not integral.
