I'm open to the idea of Prometheans returning, but 343i really needs to figure out how to characterise them.
I mean in the ViDoc Kiki went on about how they weren't robots, and they weren't monsters - but in the end all we got were robot monsters. They had no personality, nothing to add any flavour to them, they were just bullet sponges.
And give us more classes of them! It seems crazy that Halo 1 had Grunts, Jackals, Hunters, Elites + Ghosts, Banshees and Wraiths (not to mention the flood), and the Prometheans only had Knights, Watchers and Crawlers - that's it.
I know I know there were the different kinds of Knights, but they were really just the equivalent of different colours of Elites.
So yeah, I hope that they sort that out.
