I didn't feel belittled, but I could understand how some could see arrogance. *shrug*
It was more like a statement of their observations; a stereotype, if you will, perhaps, of who they believe are the public. Those in gaming circles use the system for gaming, and only see it being used for gaming. Those with general friends who may be pseudo- or non-gamers won't see games so much on their friends list. Die hard fans could be offended if they're associated with something they don't want to be associated with, and relaxed owners who aren't as attached and fanatical to anything could easily shrug off comments that direct offenses. Or even see the light at the end of the tunnel, if not the direct bright side of any comments :P
But whatever. MS should still understand all these 'sides' (and I'm sure they do). Every company makes mistakes, but meh whatever, I could just ramble on about this but it's been beaten to death already. *shrug*
We'll see what happens at E3
