Lol, I think that's just *our* opinion of the peasants, being the players of the soldier units, and having the peasant units getting in the way of our troop movements :-), not necessarily the opinion of the soldiers. The soldiers are humans too. They'd probably defend their comrades before a civilian if they had to make the choice, but they'd still care about their families and mothers, for Wyrd's sake. Then again, the entire game contains rather extraordinary circumstances…
