I do not know where you're getting that from.
: Unless, there are people that only hang around to complain. Good thing we
: don't see a lot of that here, right?
Honestly, just about everything 343i has released in the past year has been stuff that I can only complain about.
Halo 4? I cannot stress this enough, but I went into it with the same low expectations and cynicism that I first played Halo Wars with. Halo Wars merely sparked "Man, that's lame" or "That could have been done so much better." Halo 4, on the other hand... crushing disappointment.
Traviss's books? Yeah, I do a lot of whining, kvetching, and moaning, but I can't really offer any speculation on where they're going to end. Don't know where Traviss is going with the final book. It seems like Jul isn't going to get much screentime, and we're finally going to visit Venezia on business.
Greg Bear's trilogy was absolutely fantastic... but there's one problem. I find the Forerunner to be about as interesting as the floor polish on the Cairo. I like what they do for the background of the Haloverse, but I don't think that they can support the narrative of Halo on their lonesome, and Greg Bear didn't do much to convince me otherwise.
What have I got to say about Silentium? Not a hell of a lot. Darn fine book, though.
Forward Unto Dawn? Well, this is an incredibly stupid reason, but I don't have much to say about it because I simply didn't pay all that much attention to it. It was a webseries, and I rarely watch anything online.
I plan to do more than complaining, but that takes effort, and I'm stretched thin as it is. =)
