I played some Reach and Halo 4 for the first time in a good while recently. Games are both still fun. The red X is nifty... Though people will still whine and cry because "it should have been there in the first place".

Halo 2, anyone? Bungie's sophomore outing on the Xbox was a failure on many levels that required five major Title Updates, and STILL never fixed some of the worst bugs and exploits.
All things considered, 343 nailed what WAS included across the board. The biggest gameplay bug that I can remember was the grenade super-throw, and THAT wasn't even a bad bug per se...

As someone burned out on Halo gameplay-wise, I don't think 343 blew it. They did a darn good job, but with many oversights and decisions that I would not have allowed them to make if I were running things.
But I allow Halo 4 to be a pass for them, since it was their first game (outside of the botched Anniversary reskin). I expect much better from Halo 5, and that's part of why I lurk 'round here. Community going-ons being my other big reason.
