Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was obvious that Halsey was "playing" Jul, i.e. she is feigning wanting to get revenge so she can get back to her own people.
I didn't like the fact that all of these people all of a sudden got angry about the fact that she had abducted children. Why wasn't that addressed "years ago?" Why is she all of a sudden a terrible person? I always saw her as a mother-figure in this universe. Sure, she was always ridiculously self-centered, but still a "mother" to the II's.
