What possible reason would they have for redesigning the rocket launcher, ditching the classic twin-tube SPNKr design for something that looks like a generic single-shot SMAW-like launcher that would be more at home in COD or Battlefield? It can't be for smart-scope, as we've seen with the AR and sniper rifle retaining the same design (the latter just zooms in classic-style like always). Balance has never been a concern before, as though powerful the rocket launcher had limited ammo, took a second or two to cycle to the second shot, and took a long time to reload.

Honestly, does 343i have no respect for the legacy Bungie left for them? Will this franchise even be recognizable by the end of the decade (assuming it's still around)? They redesigned the Chief, the Dawn, and the physiologies of Jackals and Grunts, all just for the hell of it, but at least those blatant visual retcons and other visual changes to various assets didn't really affect gameplay like replacing the SPNKr with this new... thing. Halo 5 better impress the hell out of me, because I've just about burned through what little patience I have left with the MCC and I'm on the verge of selling my XBO. I have friends with the system, so I can just go over to their houses to play the H5 Campaign if need be. I do still have an interest in where the story is going, but I have serious concerns about the visual and gameplay changes being made to the series. I've honestly gotten to the point where I just treat 343i-era Halo as taking place in an alternate universe and that we never got the "real" Bungie-made sequel. Now, it's still possible that Halo 5 is a perfectly fine game in an of itself when viewing it in a pure vacuum, but in the context of the series it may not end up feeling like a "true" Halo game. I felt the same way about Halo 4, which was a fine and polished game on its own merits, but didn't "feel" quite like Halo.
