Well for kills they categorize things, which I like. I'm not sure what non-kill medals they have beyond assists and presumably objective-related ones.

I meant about the look of the game in general (or rather the beta). As other people mentioned, the regular sword is still in. I caught parts of the match they showed the day before MCC came out and they talked about it. I might change my mind later, but I like the idea so far-- one sword that feels more fair and one sword that replicates the ridiculous lunge of yesteryear for remakes and general silly fun.

Reach always seemed to me like you had a pretty normal amount of shielding but most of the weapons were weaker than in the other games.
I think it's a safe bet that one way or another the damage system will be changed.
