The game has been out, what? Less then two weeks at this time? And you're putting a 3 week time limit on 343i to fix it before they loose you as a player? No offense, but I don't think 343i nor Microsoft is shaking in their money filled boots from your threat. Not happy with how the MCC is working at this time? Then take it back, or go play something else til it gets back to YOUR standards.
Players seem to be forgetting that there are FOUR DIFFERENT GAME ENGINES on ONE GAME that has to be processed and dealt out accordingly to the corresponding players, servers and website. Not only that, there's the issue of millions players leaving one game engine and jumping right into another on THE SAME SERVERS.
I don't have the game so I don't know what the wait times are. But the reports I'm seeing on YouTube is that players are having to wait a whole Five minutes before entering a game. Maybe 10 minutes. That's NOTHING! There are 24 hours in each day and 7 days a week. Average of 30 days a month and 365 days a year. A 5-10 minute wait is nothing in comparison. Granted, most players have jobs and other duties so that eats their time for gaming and they/we want to game exactly when they/we want to. But that NEVER HAPPENS. Not one Halo game has ever got you right into a game 100% of the time. No game period ever has. Even with a incredible connection, it can take up to 10 minutes or more to join a game before the MCC. While you wait, be productive. Read a book, draw, work on the computer, watch TV, go for a smoke (if you smoke). There are MANY ways to get the wait time to feel like it's passing faster.
As for comparing Microsoft to Nintendo, that's just foolish. Sorry but it is. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME. Nor are their games and servers. They each have their own method of bringing gamers together. They each have their own method of doing things. AND NOT ONE is perfect. First Party game or otherwise. You're comparing Apples to Bananas. They may have their similarities, but there are FAR MORE differences between them then you may realize.
There are going to be hick-ups with every new generation of console or PC (that includes Macs). And even more hick-ups when you try to bring old software (updated or not) to work on new hardware. In this case that's the Halo master Chief Collection. Which consist of Four Freaking Games!. So take a chill pill and relax. You're not the only one experiencing problems. And Microsoft/343i ARE WORKING ON IT.
