Yes and there should only be two grenade types for the same reason. Frags and stickies are all you need. And let us carry four of each kind.
Also - in campaign - the grenades should be beefed up and frags should have a wider area of impact and should scatter groups of unshielded foes just like they do in the original game. Stickies may have a smaller damage radius, be better at tacking down shields, and insta-kill when stuck to the target. Preserve or accentuate the distinct feel of the two grenade types.
IMO Grenades and vehicles have been toned down because of complaints by multiplayers. Let weapon behaviors diverge between campaign and multiplayer - that way both sets of players are happier.
