It's ironic that the exact way cutting split-screen could simplify his job(easing the ability of dynamic resolution) was the major thing H5 did that made 343i decide they had to cut split-screen. It's almost like they were willing to do major changes to the game to keep the one thing everyone had agreed they had done well before(graphics and resolution.) Weird how a company tries to get back into the good graces with their fanbase by doubing down on what they've done right and a part of that fanbase burns them for it.
