There's a collar look, but it's suggested by moulded shape rather than looking like material over a body. That's the thing with her. She has the appearance of being made of parts put together, robot style. I think maybe you'll change your impression when you take a longer look.

Ok, but I was only going by how she's been in the games. I've never felt obliged to give any weight to the novels, which I see as just the imaginings and interpretations of others. Which isn't to say they couldn't be fun to buy into if you want - but it's strictly optional.
