: Look at this scene, for example. He's superior in every way to those around
: him, but he's not untouchable. Beneath all of his augmentations and
: strength, he's a human.
:
: It's gritty, immersive, awe-inspiring, and while unrealistic, it's still not
: so over-the-top that the audience buys into what's happening. Every punch
: is felt, every moment is tense, because you don't quite know what to
: expect.
: This trailer reminds me more of the fight scenes in Man of Steel, where the
: people fighting just seem so inhuman, that you see it as more spectacle,

: with no trouble:
: Great fighters such as Odysseus and Leonidas are legends to their people and
: to those who hear their stories, because they were the best of the best,
: and could fail, but still overcame their adversaries in one way or
: another. Godlike figures amongst men, but still men.
: As opposed to "Zeus zapped a whole army out of existence? Okay.
I really like this comparison a lot actually (honestly, despite what I'm about to say), add the Mjolnir armor to the Cap and you just about have a Spartan II...granted, the spartans were trained since age 7 to be killers and use guns unlike Cpt America, and they're fighting rank and file remnants of an admittedly large military force that has now been disbanded into hyper-religious zealots, not the special ops guys the Cap is fighting here.
I guess, while I still personally didn't care for this part of the Halo 5 opening cinematic, I don't see it being beyond belief and feel it personifies the 'flashy little kids/new guys' persona the Spartan IV's have been displaying since their introdution. Now if they do this same thing to Blue Team, I'll be really disappointed.
