As I've said too much, I was frustrated by the lack of accuracy and quality given to updating HCE in Anniversary. But at least they were poorly using Bungie assets (even though I found that copy-and-pasting disrespectful). If they start laying over and rewriting the whole universe with Halo 4 visuals... I think my brain might just break. Seeing 343i's new Arbiter armor in a random comic I picked up the other day almost did that alone, so what would happen if I saw the thing I looked forward to more than anything in my childhood, with all that youthful, impatient passion I had, rewritten? I might just have to go join the Amish and preserve the original trilogy in a bunker under the ground. I would toil and exhaust myself in the dirt to successfully distract myself from all the fuss. After the apocalypse, I will find my bunker and, after I get a few TVs and Xboxes working, I will tell the children the old forgotten stories. I don't know where I am going with this, but it somehow portrayed my emotions accurately, hah

Re-releases should be about preservation. If not then they should at least be translated into a newer console properly, with as much focus and study as a translation of Beowulf by an obsessed professor might have.
