Me too! I generally regard characters I hate with the following formula:

#1: Great/interesting character, terrible person - Admirals Parangosky and Osman, Doctor Halsey, etc.
#2: Terrible/daft character, "you don't matter" - Commanders Keyes and Palmer, Doctor Anders, etc.
